🔭 2022 Gear Overview

Overview

My goal for the night was to see how many subs I could take in one night. I was trying to take advantage of the long winter nights. I get about 11 hours of darkness and clear skies. I set up the telescope and pointed it at Pleiades and set it to run all night. Then I went to bed and the camera kept running.

When I got up I was excited to see what I ended up with. The camera was still running, but I had not calculated the path Pleiades would take so the last few hours were just pictures of the back of my house. I still ended up with over 100 5-minute subs.

I’m excited to try this again on a different target this winter.
